Account Deletion Instructions

If you wish to delete account data associated with Melo App, please follow the instructions below to request data deletion

How to Request Data Deletion

To request deletion of your account data, please follow these steps:

  1. 1Open the Melo app on your device and log in to your account.
  2. 2Navigate to "Settings" → "Account Management"
  3. 3Click the "Delete Account" button.
  4. 4Click confirm and complete the data deletion process.

What Happens After Requesting Deletion

After requesting data deletion through the application:

  • You will receive a unique deletion confirmation link (valid for 14 days).
  • The link will be displayed in the application.
  • After confirmation, your data will be permanently deleted from our systems.
Processing Time: Data deletion requests will be processed immediately after confirmation. Once deleted, data cannot be recovered.

Data That Will Be Deleted

When you confirm deletion, the following information associated with your account will be permanently deleted from our systems:

  • Account profile information (nickname, avatar, gender, birthday, etc.)
  • Account settings and preferences
  • Chat records and conversation history
  • Room participation records
  • Friendships and follow records
  • Transaction records and payment history
  • Any other personal data associated with your account
Note: Some data may be retained for legal or regulatory compliance purposes (e.g., transaction records required by law). However, such data will be anonymized and cannot be associated with your account.
⚠️ Important Warning

Data deletion is permanent and irreversible. Once you confirm deletion, all of your account data will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered. Please be sure to back up all important information before proceeding.

Processing Period

We will complete the account and data deletion process within 14 business days after receiving your request.
